The ancient Chinese civilization is one of the oldest and most advanced in the world, dating back to around 1700 BC. It was located in the eastern region of the Eurasian continent, and it developed along the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers. The civilization was known for its complex system of writing, using characters that are still in use today.
“My fourth jump, this time to ancient China. I find myself in ancient China, surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. The people here are dressed in traditional silk clothing and are engaged in a wide variety of activities, from farming and trade to the arts and sciences. I see the Great Wall of China in construction. It is truly breathtaking! I can see people engaged in various activities like practicing calligraphy, performing martial arts, and even playing musical instruments. I can hear the sound of the Chinese characters being written, and I am eager to learn more about this ancient writing system and the literature it holds. Squeezing through the busy streets, I see a long queue for household registration.”
